Dr. Khan created Khan Therapy LLC to serve people who traditionally do not go to therapy or feel it is out of reach; those who may not ever tried therapy, believe in therapy or had bad experiences in the past.
At the heart of her philosophy is that each person has the potential to reach who they truly are. Judgments from others (whether family, society or ourselves) trap us into believing we are not good enough or worth good things in life. However that is simply not true. You get to create the life you want based on being yourself, living by your values, and giving up anything that does not serve you.
